That is why Maurizio runs his own library, to allow children access to foreign literature at a minimal cost. Reading is a valuable skill for students of English which can help improve their vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and pronunciation. Reading can expose children to different cultures, perspectives and genres of texts. It can motivate students to learn more and communicate better in English. Debate Class

In the summer Maurizio usually runs a special debate class. This focuses on enhancing students' public speaking skills, critical thinking and ability to construct and deconstruct arguments. It serves as a platform for students to engage in structured discussions on various topics, fostering a deeper understanding of issues and improving their reasoning and persuasion abilities.

Games Club

Maurizio's students enjoy weekly meet ups where they play all kinds of boardgames and card games with a focus on English speaking practice. Play is a powerful way to help students of English learn and practice the language. His games club has proven to stimulate students’ curiosity, creativity, and motivation. It reduces their anxiety and fear of making mistakes. It also enhance students' cognitive, social, and emotional development, as well as their language skills.
